SCHOOL DISTRICT 44 GETS NEW SCHOOL BUS

North Vancouver School District 44 will receive $103,136 in funding for the purchase of a new school bus, part of a $14 million investment by the Province. Why this matters: The Government has invested $14 million for 125 new buses across the province. These new clean diesel buses reduce exhaust particulate emissions by 90 per cent compared to the previous 1994 standard. The buses also obtain 30 to 60 per cent better mileage than gasoline-fuelled buses, consequently providing longer service.

NORTH VANCOUVER RECEIVES GRANT IN LIEU OF PROPERTY TAXES
